Hi,
I'm in the process of replicating two large servers over to a DR site and running a planned failover.
My question is this; Is it safe to backup the replica of the server(s) (which are running) prior to failing back to production? in as much as the backup not affecting the failback process and causing problems, like extending the failback time, or causing it to fail altogether?
Thanks
Nick Hogan

Re: Backing up a replica during planned failover
Hi Nick, if you make sure backup and failback processes do not overlap, there are no issues with backing up running replica VMs.
