Hi Community,
situation (future but not testet yet), we want to make a Backup Copy Job over WAN. We have a local repository with Refs and make daily increment backups. The Backup copy needs a minimum of 4 days to copy the first full.
I read a little bit whats happend when the normal backup runs while the backup copy is in progress(see link below). What means "on hold and continue" ... after the normal backup runs, will they continue at 33% or is it needed to finish the VM before the next backup runs.

-> Simultaneous Use of Backup Files

Re: Backup Copy Job
Hello and Welcome to our Community Forum!
Backup copy puts on pause data transfer while primary job is running and will resume transfer of remaining data right after a primary job is completed and source file lock is released.
Thanks!

Re: Backup Copy Job
Hi PetrM,
thanks for your answer. This sounds great and now we can make a POC to ensure that all works like it should.
