Guys.
We are setting up a new environment and I’m trying to get my head around something.
We have an Apollo 4200 in our Datacenter backing up from VMware. We are then using the backup copy job to copy all the backup jobs to another Apollo 4200 in a local office. This is fine. However we have a tape drive attached to the Apollo in the local office and for the life of me I can’t see how this is able to backup to backup copy job data? There are no jobs configured on the office Apollo and it does not see to pick anything up in the repository.
Any ideas? The plan was to backup in the datacenter , copy the data to the local
Office and then backup to tape.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Backup copy job.
I take it you have 2 VBR servers in this case?
In order to use Backup to Tape feature Veeam server must be able to see backup(or backup copy) jobs that create said restore points. So you should add tape server to a remote VBR, or use local File to Tape job to archive backup copy chain created by other VBR.
\Cheers!
