Backup Disk -> Backup Copy -> Backup Tape

Hi,

I like to backup my fileserver with the latest weekly backup and monthly backup to tape.

I backup to disk from monday - friday
i do a backup copy to a remote nas on saturday (no gfs is activated)

i only like to backup the latest weekly and monthly backup to tape.

Tape backup is a GFS activated Job.

Now the Tape Backup is always telling me its waiting for a backup to turns into weekly state.

Question: Do i need to activate Backup Copy GFS to Backup to Tape with GFS?

No, you don't need to activate BCJ GFS, moreover, you can find a NOTE regarding this scenario here.
