Backup Fails with AgentProvider.AgentClosedException
Currently running Veeam 6.1.0.181
I created a new backup job. It is attempting to backup a "Resource Pool" that contains 5 Linux web application servers. I think I left all of the job settings to their default. Backup Mode is set to Reversed incremental. Application aware image processing and guest file system indexing are both unchecked.
The Backup Proxies are both local VMs in the same VMware cluster. The backup repository is a physical Linux server.
Each VM in the job starts and then fails with Veeam.Backup.AgentProvider.AgentClosedException.
I read in another thread with a similar issue...something about disabling CBT (I think?) on the proxies....but later in the thread it was mentioned that this was fixed in patch 3 so should no longer be an issue since I'm on the latest version.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Matt

chewie ,
what the support said to you ?
that could be interesting since that error comes back often

Re: Backup Fails with AgentProvider.AgentClosedException
According to his ticket, Matt came up with mounting the volumes from the Linux server to the Veeam B&R server via iSCSI instead of setting up the Linux-type repository. I recommend opening your own case, however, to let our engineers take a look at your logs for possible reason of the error.
