Hi All,
Please assist on below.
We have a SDRS cluster created on vCenter for backup repositories. Out of which multiple repositories are created. While there is space available in the cluster in one of the DS, but still backup getting failed with insufficient space and repositories goes down.
Do we need to maintain some free space under repositories to take successful backups ?

Re: Backup getting failed due to insufficient space
Hello,
Repositories must have free space for successful backups, yes.
The error message sounds more like that you have no free space on the datastores where your VMs are running. There must be free space for the VM snapshots. And for safety reasons, we stop creating snapshots (backups), when the datastore runs out of diskspace.
Best regards,
Hannes
I do not understand your setup. Repositories run on Windows or Linux (and it rarely makes sense to host them on VMware). Is that information relevant for the question? We have a SDRS cluster created on vCenter for backup repositories
