Hi everyone,
Currently seting up my infrastructure with V.7 and now testing backup and restore.
It seems that only my C:\ drive are being backup. After some research I found this.
So if you have the iSCSI initiator of a VM pointing to an iSCSI target, that target is not part of the VM and that's why it isn't backed up.
What would be the best practices in order to be able to backup those volume.
Thank you for your suggestion / help

Hi Charles,
You can try to use any other 3rd party tool to backup this data. On a side note, can you please tell me what VMs have iSCSI initiated volumes? Is there any special requirement to use this configuration?
Thanks!

I think I wasn't really clear with my initial question. Lot's going on in my mind... sorry about that.
Is veeam able to backup RDM volume or I need to convert it to a vmdk ?

Veeam B&R can back up virtual RDM, however VMDK is actually a more recommended design these days.
