Hello, i created a backup job to backup 10 VM into a vcenter resource pool, when the full bakup completed i sa that there is just one .vbk and not a single backup file for each Vm... that's normal ?
If i have to backup 100 vm into a single resource pool i will have just 1 backup file very big !!!! maybe i set up something wrong? is not possbile have the backup files x vm ?
Thanks

Re: Backup Job on Resource Pool
Hello,
Yes, that's expected behavior. Every job creates its own VBK (full backup) + VRB/VIB (incrementals) compressed and deduplicated files for all VMs within the job. We usually recommend to group your VMs based on the OS for better job dedupe rates.
