Hello friends,
is there any configuration that needs to be done in Veeam or JOB for data transfer to take place via SAN Transport?
I'm used to other solutions like this:
1 - Present the volumes to the windows server
2 - Disable automatic mounting of volumes
3 - In the backup JOB there is usually an option to prioritize the transport method. But usually the tool already identifies the best way to transport the data
These are VMFS volumes.
Thanks.

Re: Backup mode SAN Transport
Hi.
In job - no changes needed, each time job starts it will pick best suitable transport mode proxy automatically(SAN > HotAdd > Network).
In infrastructure - yes, volumes should be presented to proxy server(read only access). When adding a proxy server in the first place, Veeam will disable automatic volume mount(aka set SAN POLICY=OfflineShared), so you don't need to set this option manually too.
/Thanks!
