Backup of SQL server failing. Case # 01779794

Good day everyone.

Initially one backup job of a SQL server started to fail, opened the ticket and support suggested to reinstall v8 or upgrade to 9.

Reinstalled version 8, now none of the backups job for SQL servers runs.

Running the job manual hangs and later show the message that says: “Veeam Backup Service is not running”.

However the backups for fileservers or other NON SQL servers are woking fine.

Any idea or suggestion? thanks in advance.

Looks strange to me, since if Veeam Backup Service is not actually running, then no jobs should be able start at all.
