Hi,
through Case # 04080 I have been dealing with a problem for some time now and we cannot understand the cause:
- Parent Job Backup VM Linux Oracle with active guest processing.
- Guest processing works perfectly, both the Linux account and Oraclce SYSDBA have no permission problems.
- Child Job Backup Oracle Archive Logs up and running.
- Until here no problem, when I try to do a point-in-time restore with Veeam Explorer for Oracle, the heuristic analysis is in progress even for hours and even the stopping is in progress, I am forced to kill the process.
- Then only the VM level backup works, the backup tasks no longer report the reading of the db.ora.
- All the activities and tests described above were done through another backup server configured specifically for this but the result is the same.
- I also tried to point to another Oracle instance on another VM but the result is the same.
We are included in the compatibility matrix with the version of Linux and Oracle.
Did I run into another v10 bug?

Thanks for the follow up with the correct support ticket.
You stated there already that we can close the ticket.
The summary for anone else following:
Linux 4.1.12 kernel has a issue with FUSE that our restore process uses to mount the data temporary.
Newer Kernel version should fix the issue.
