Hi,
is it possible to backup a Linux VM including Oracle databases where Oracle is configured with dNFS to read/write the database files?
Guess the tricky part is that the OS NFS client is not used, just Oracle itself establishes the connection.
Thanks!

Re: Backup Oracle dNFS
Hi and welcome to the community,
What is really a tricky part here is that dNFS is on another machine, apparently. That is, vSphere does not see it as a virtual disk, hence Veeam won't back it up.
Thanks!

Re: Backup Oracle dNFS
You can backup the oracle database with RMAN and use our RMAN Plugin (Veeam Plug-in for Oracle RMAN) to forward the backups to a Veeam repositories.
Plugin is available at Enterprise Plus and do not need additional license if the VM (Socket or Instance) or Server is already licensed
