Backup retention policy

Hi,
I think this should be straightforward, I might miss some simple option.
I do daily backups with weekly incremental full backups. I need to keep daily backups for last week, but for older only keep weekly files. I am unable to find how to delete only VIBs and keep VBKs, backup job gives me only option to keep several restore points.

I guess you are looking for GFS Retention scheme.

To be more precise, you're most likely looking for GFS retention for regular backup jobs (while the link provided by Egor covers the same topic for backup copies, which you should consider as well though, to comply with the 3-2-1 rule).
