Backup status of all jobs
Case #05078771
I need a daily report with the status of all backup jobs including copies.
All the information we are backing up are VMs under VMWare.
Just about all VMs do not have backup agents.
I'm using backup agents for SQL server DB backups.
I have seen this forum reference:
reporting-f6/daily-report-from-all-back ... 65307.html
However I want all backup status irrespective if the backup came from a backup agent or not.
Also I cannot find "Agent Backup Job and Policy History report" in Veeam One
I have used:
Veeam One - "Latest Backup Job Status" under "Veeam Backup Monitoring"
but it only shows the "Top 10" jobs not all jobs
Is there a way of extending the report for all jobs?
Is there another report I can use?
Can you please tell me the comprehensive way of getting to the report as I'm just
starting out with Veeam and the Navigation panel is not the most helpful.

Re: Backup status of all jobs
Try the Backup Infrastructure Custom Data report.
With this report, you can choose which properties you want to have on the report. Choose as a type „Job“ and you can create a report with each jobs last status.
Agents and VMs will be included.
Let us know, if that would be a solution for your requirements
Object type: Job
Properties: Job Name, Platform, Last Run Status, Last Run Start Time, Failure Message
Example from the guide:

Re: Backup status of all jobs
Thanks.
I've only very recently joined the organisation that is using Veeam.
Looks like the sort of report I'm after.
Another forum article suggested to try the report "Agent Backup Job and Policy History report".
However I cannot find this report - can you give me navigation instructions to get to this report?
I'm surprised that in "Backup Infrastructure Custom Data" report some of the Last Run Start Time
was back in May for some jobs - I'll need to investigate why this is the case.
For those interested and if you cannot find this report try this:
Run Veeam One
Pick Workplace Tab
Custom Reports -> Backup Infrastructure Custom Data
Pick these columns Job Name,Last Run Status, Last Run Backup VMs Count, Last Run Start Time

Re: Backup status of all jobs
Your welcome.
Are you talking about this report?
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/one/r ... ml?ver=110
You can find it under:
All Templates > Veeam Backup Agents > Agent Backup Job and Policy History
If you don't see Agent Reports there, then it's possible that you don't see agents in your veeam one installation, because your licensing doesn't allow monitoring on agents.

Re: Backup status of all jobs
In the navigation panel for Workplace I don't have an "All Templates" selection.
I simply have "All Folders", "User Reports", "All Deployment Projects".
I do not have "All Templates" in "All Folders" either.
Do I need to do something special to enable "All Templates" ?

Re: Backup status of all jobs
It should be on this page in the veeam One webclient.
You need to switch from Saved Reports to Report Templates.
What is your Veeam One Version? I think, that you are not on the most recent version. If you have Workspace on the veeam One website, you must have 9.5 or 10.0.
Veeam One V11 does not have workspace anymore.

Thanks.
I'm on Veeam One version 9.5.
I'll find out if I can upgrade Veeam One without upgrading Veeam itself!
