Hi,
In Veeam I have added the vCenter server and also makes the backup of the vCenter through that one, it runs fine, but is that the best way?
Or should I add the host as a "stand alone" in Veeam and make another backup job only for the vCenter through the "stand alone" host instead through the vcenter?
Thanks.

Re: Backup vCenter Appliance
Hi,
The recommended approach is to add vCenter in the Veeam B&R for managing your infrastructure.
There is no need to add standalone hosts. Thanks!

Re: Backup vCenter Appliance
Ok, good, then I don't need to change my backup jobs.
I have an old memory that I have read somewhere that to backup the vCenter appliance, you should do that through "stand alone mode".
Thanks.

Re: Backup vCenter Appliance
You can point the job directly to the vCenter without additional actions.
However, you can review a few existing discussions just in case you want to dig deeper. Thanks!
