Backups fail after upgrading server OS

Hi i am fairly new to Veeam and i need some assistance. We recently upgraded OS from 2008 to 2012 on our file server and ever since backups are failing with error :

Error: VDDK operation timed out: Open
Failed to open disk for read.
Failed to upload disk.
Agent failed to process method {DataTransfer.SyncDisk}.

I've logged a support call and the tech who is assisting sent some registry entries to increase the timeout amount. Other than that i have just been sending logs for the past two weeks and we haven't found a resolution yet.

When i backup over Network all seems fine but it takes a very long time to complete. When on direct it reads disc 1 and disc 4. Disc 2 and 3 wont read and ends up timing out causing the job to fail.

I am extremely desperate and will appreciate any help.

sounds like the backup proxy is struggling.

i am using the Veeam server as a proxy and the other jobs run perfectly fine. ive compared config between all jobs and cant find anything different

Which Windows version do you have on VBR? Are there any other VMs that are also Windows 2012?
