Hello,
I'm new to Veeam Backup and Replication but am getting it up and running. I am backing up a VMWare 6.x environment to a local CIFS target on a NetApp. My configuration database backup goes there. I also have a tape library in my environment where I'm sending backups for offsite DR.
I can't find any documentation on best practices for getting the configuration database backup offsite. Does anyone have some advice or can point me in the direction of some docs for getting the configuration database backups offsite?
Thanks!

Re: Best Practices for offsite configuration database backup
You can use file to tape job for that.

Re: Best Practices for offsite configuration database backup
Thanks for the response!
So I would let the configuration backup create the files, then do a file to tape to get them offsite. To recover I would restore the files on tape to the configuration backup folder and use the configuration backup functionality to recover the database.
