Hey hey, I'm hoping someone might be able to help me. I've logged a case ID as well, but was suggested to try here as well.
Case ID: 04053073
I've tried having a look around to see if I can work this out, without any luck. I've got a lab setup with a replication job.
The replica job completed without any issues, and a test restore worked just fine to Vcentre.
Issue being I didn't follow the correct process to remove my test replication from Vcentre via veeam.
Instead like a monkey I removed the "VM1_replica" vm manually from Vcentre.
The replication job failed as "the target VM state is in failover" And I can't remove the active replication job. Also I made it a little worse by removing the replication job from Veeam.
I've shot myself in the foot haha, but just trying to remove the active job to set it back up again.
Any ideas on how to do this will be much appreciated.
Cheers Mitch.

Re: Broken replication chain
Hi Mitchell,
I would say you have nothing to worry about, the error "the target VM state is in failover" could be repaired by running a simple SQL query against Veeam database.
I believe that the best option now is to wait for update from the support team.
Thanks!

Re: Broken replication chain
Sadly the veeam team don't have capacity to answer my question.
So if anyone has any good ideas, feel free to sing out

Re: Broken replication chain
Please ask for the case escalation if your engineer is not able to assist you with this. Or do you mean you're on the Community Edition and they close the case due to temporary resources unavailability? People behind this forum are not able to help you with direct database interaction, this should be done via support.
