BSOD issue with Windows 10 Veeam instant recovery

Hi Team,

I am facing challenges when starting instant recovery for one of VM, when i start the instant recovery windows 10 machine dump when powered on,

Hi Vishmay

Thanks for the case number.
Have you tried analyzing the bluescreen?
There should be a minidump file which gives you more information about the bluescreen.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply,

when I do a veeam instant recovery that time I face a blue screen dump issue, so not able to collect logs from that system.

Hello vishmay,
Does it crash when loading Windows, post-BIOS right? Just out of curiosity, have you installed the VMware Tools on Windows 10? You might want to take a quick look, install them, run a backup, try the IVMR from that point, just to discard there is nothing odd on that machine like an old IDE or something.

I can see the case has been escalated anyways, so I am positive the next tier will be able to provide a solution hopefully soon.

Yes, dump post bios.

installed the VMware tools and enable VMware tools quiescence as per the guide by the veeam support team, but the issues are the same.

My original VM working properly and I did restart it many times.
