Bug report – Unable to add EMC VNX 5200 to inventory Veeam backup and replication v10

Hi,
Please be inform that the Veeam backup and replication version 10 is unable to add EMC VNX 5200 with the latest firmware edition (Flare 5.33.0.9.5.231) as its storage inventory.
The issue has been resolved with the upgrade to Veeam backup and replication v11.

Hello,
in general, it happen from time to time, that old VBR versions do not work with the latest firmware version of a storage system. So that's not a bug.

For V10, we support up to 5.0 https://helpcenter.veeam.com/archive/ba ... ments.html

Maybe the user guide for V11 did not get an update in that section, so I will check that out. First I need to be sure, that you are really using 5.33. Because 5.33 is "far beyond" 5.0 and I cannot find 5.33 on the EMC website.

Looks like the known issue with the old EMC Navisphere CLI tools version in v10 that didn't support TLS 1.2. We've updated those in v11 so it works fine.

As for the version, then the user guide mentions the requirements for VNXe/Unity OE (versions 3.x up to 5.0) while there are no particular ones for VNX Block - version 5.33 is fully supported. Thanks!

Yes, as it stated the new version support EMC VNX 5200 latest firmware. To find the firmware search for VNX-Block-Operating-Environment-05.33.009.5.231.pbu in the customer panel.
