Can Virtual RDMs larger 2TB be backed up usiung VBR?

Post by pinkerton » Apr 07, 2014 8:50 am

Dear Forums,

ESXi 5.5 supports vRDMs larger than 2TB - can those be backed up with VBR 7.0? We are currently backing up a virtual machine that is configured with a 1.5TB vRDM which we would like to increase to more than 2TB.

Thanks
Michael

Yes, you can backup VMs with disks larger than 2 TB with no issues. Just make sure you can create a snapshot of this VM. Thanks!
