Hi,
I want to create a Scale-out repository but I do get a error.
"Unable to add extent repositoryname because it is used as a cache repository"
In de details pane there is a \\servername\sharename listed that was indeed part of a files to tape job. I deleted this specific tape job and tried again with same result. Also did a rescan on the repository.
How can I get this cache reference pointing to the repository removed?
Kind regards
Guido Janssen

Re: Cannot create Scale-out repository because of cache
Hi Guido
Do you still have \\servername\sharename added as a File Shares to Veeam?
Added File Shares have always an assigned Cache repository.
Thanks
Fabian

Yes Fabian,
It was indeed listed there and was able to change the cache location to a another repository.
The error is gone.Thank you!
Have a nice weekend
