Cannot delete file

Not necessarily a Veeam problem but - I have an old replica VM that I deleted. There are still some files left over that it refuses to delete and gives me a "Cannot delete file" error.

There are a few (vmname)-0000001-delta.vmdk files and a (vmname)-flat.vmdk file.

Any ideas as to how to clean this up??

well I did try restarting the management agents on all hosts with no luck. when I try to delete directly out of an ssh session on esx I have a "device or resource busy"
