Case # 00521050 issues restoring mailbox to pst

Good morning,
I hope you guys can shed some light on an error im recieving when trying to export an exchange mailbox to a pst.

I recieve the following error:

JetError - 1018,Jat_errReadVerifyFailure, Checksim error on database page.

I have tried looking for the logs in the log location for the exchange explorer however it dosent look like anything has been logged. the last log is from 2012.

I have tried to export another mailbox to pst an this works perfectly.
I hope somone is able to help with this as the mailbox that will be restored may be used in legal proceedings, so it is important that i am able to restore this mailbox.
Any help would be great.

Please continue working with support on this, logs investigation is required.

Ok shall do foggy,
as soon as i have a solution for this issue ill post a reply back here, perhaps it will help other people with similar problems.

so far the advice was to install patch 3 for veeam 7 now i cant even open the backup to do the restore :(

then i have a look and i see an attachment in de log folder which points to a mail with an attachment.

Sorry any problems caused.
I just thought that perhaps someone may have seen this issue before.
Im trying all sorts to try to get this resolved as time is now becmoing an issue for me and my compay.

Quick search suggests that you the first one who comes across this issue. So, most likely, only support team will be able to address it. :)

However, there is no problem to keep the corresponding error here, someone might chime in and provide the resolution.

Ok well i went about this another way.

earlier i had saved a copy of the .EDB file.

I have managed with the help of a third party piece of software to extract the needed pst file. this is unfortunate as i think veeam is a great piece of software.
even though ive managed to solve the issue i would still like to know the root cause of this issue.

As soon as support gets back to me ill update this post for others that may have this issue.

Have you tried to add the saved .edb file manually to Exchange Explorer and restore from there? Thanks.

as far as i can remember i didnt try that option.

its working again.

if you run into this problem than go to a command prompt and fill in the following.

sc delete VirtualDK

Than the restore should work.
