Hello,
I have a customer with 2 storeonces used for backup + backup copy.
Immutability needs to be used.
If I understand correctly, it's not possible with storeonce to benefit from immutability when using catalyst replication as backup copy mode.
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... mutability
The only way is to use the "standard" backup copy mode and enable GFS on it.
Am I right ?
What are the drawback to not use catalyst replication ?

Re: Catalyst replication and immutability
Hi Matteu,
Support for immutability with Catalyst Copy jobs was introduced in 12.1 (ctrl+f "HPE StoreOnce immutability for Catalyst Copy jobs")
So feel free to approach it either way, with the Backup Copy with Catalyst Copy, or with traditional Backup Copy.
It's largely matter of preference between Catalyst Copy and traditional Backup Copy -- Catalyst copy will mirror the source catalyst store "as-is", classic Backup Copy gives you a bit more fine-grain control over what gets copied/when, etc.
