CDP delayed allthough everything seems allright

Post by mcz »

Hi everybody,

I've configured a CDP policy with a RPO of 3 minutes. We don't have many changes on the source-VM's, so no high loads of data in transfer expected. CDP is running fine, status is 'syncing' and 'processing disks', bottleneck shows: 'none'. Everything looks good here.

Now when I navigate to Replicas -> Failover Now -> Point, I always have a 15 minutes delay, which means that I could only restore 15 minutes back from now as the latest crash-consistent state.

How can I figure out what causes this delay?

Thanks!

Hi Michael,

Any chance the time on the source host is lagging for ~12 minutes?

Thanks

Oh my god! It is so simple... Thanks Fedor, after adjusting the time, everything looks fine. That's why the host's clock should be correct...
