Hi,
I need to move my Veeam SQL server from one vlan to another, so I need to change my IP on the SQL server.
Do I need to configure anything within Veeam configuration before I change the IP ? Or would it work as long as FQDN is ok ? These machines are not part of the domain.

If you have configured a FQDN for the SQL server connection, you don't have to update Veaam's configuration.
Just make sure, that the backup server can connect to the new IP and SQL Port.
I recommend to stop all Veeam services while you do the subnet change. After you migrated the SQL server to the new vLan/subnet, start all Veeam services again.
In case you change the FQDN or have configured the IP address, you can use the Veeam Configuration Database Connection Utility to switch the connection to the new sql server:
