Changing disk type during replica

Post by marius roma »

Can I change the disk type during replica, let's say replicate a thin disk to thick or a thick disk to thin?

I believe you can, but this will have no effect on already created replicas.

Many thanks!
How can I specify in a new replica that I want to change the disk type?
I looked at the FAQ searching for "thin" and "thick" with no success...

For new VM replicas this setting is available on "Destination" step of the replication job wizard, check "replica settings" option. This is described in details in the User Guide.

If I copy the whole User Guide to FAQ topic, it will be 200 pages long ;) not very useful !
