Howdy!
I have a use-case for changing the name of the Datacenter object in vCenter/VCSA as I have moved physical campuses for one site and the old name is misleading.
I have many different jobs which target the Datacenter (LAX) which I would like to rename - is this going to screw up the Veeam incoming replication?
Right now: VCSA=VCSA Datacenter=LAX Cluster=Cluster1
More Accurate: VCSA=VCSA Datacenter=SFO Cluster=Cluster1

Re: Changing the vCenter Datacenter name
Hello,
renaming datacenters is fine. We use the IDs in the background.
Best regards,
Hannes
