I have two vSphere servers with a VCSA on one of them, all 7.0.1. As it's a PITA to update the server hosting VCSA, I'm investigating setting up a cluster so I can enable EVC and shuffle it across before remediation.
Will the Veeam backup jobs recognise that the VMs are still the same, or will I need to re-configure them and suffer a full backup of everything?
Thanks!

Re: Changing to a Cluster
Hi Marcus, will this cause VM ID's change/VM's re-registration in vCenter?

Re: Changing to a Cluster
Pass
All I'll be doing, hopefully, is creating the cluster, then moving the two servers into the cluster. (I assume this is how it works - I don't have the luxury of a development system to try it on...)

Re: Changing to a Cluster
If VM ID's will not change, you're good, the backups will just continue normally.
