Cleaning up "old" VIB files
I'm trying to find extra space on a backup copy datastore and came across some VIB files that were created up to 4 months before the latest VBK.
I checked the properties of the backup copy job, verified the restore points and files, but can't find them there. They might be rogue files.
Can I manually delete these VIB files?

You can but there is a chance you could corrupt the backup chain. One suggestion is lower the retention on the job to see if the files are cleaned up when met and if not then you may be ok to remove them at that point.

Can you see these restore points in backup server UI? Is there base .vbk file for these incremental restore points or it's just bunch of .vibs? Thanks!

No, I cannot see restore points for these files, nor is there a VBK file. Just a bunch of VIBs

You can temporarily move them somewhere to see if this affects the existing chains and delete them if everything goes smooth after that.

Yes, that is a good idea also as per @foggy.
