Cleanup restore points

Environment;
VMware/vCenter 6.5
VEEAM B&R 9.5u4
Backup jobs and Backup Copy Jobs

I have one backup job that contains 10 objects. The "Restore Points to keep on disk" is 7. I have 12 restore points and would like to cleanup the repository to be 7 as set for the job.
Of course I need to do this without interrupting the data or the offsite Backup Copy Jobs. I have read several ideas or suggestions on how to get this done (old post on other forums). but, i wanted to get a more current perspective from subject experts. Looking forward to replies.

Can you share which Backup Method is used for the backup job?

Sorry for the late reply. I never received a notification that there was response to my post.
It looks like to has been resolved. I have been making a few changes and possibly stop and restart of job cleaned up the old data.
I have a much better understanding of how the backup and backup copy works after attending a VEEAM training sponsored by iLAND.
