"clone job" not longer available under 10.0.0.4461

Hi all!

We just wanted to set up a customer with a seconday NAS. We're a bit suprised to find the "clone job" option missing in 10.0.0.4461

This is working fine in 9.5.4.2866... or did it just move somewhere else? Used to be right click job, chose "clone" and off it went... how do I do this under version 10?

We just installed the cumulative update to version 10.0.0.4461 P2, no luck so far...

Hi Martin.
Most job types visible in VBR UI do have "Clone Job" option and it wasn't changed in v10. What kind of job you are trying to clone that is missing that option?

Hi Martin,

Another question is what product edition and license you use? Job cloning is only possible in Enterprise and Enterprise Plus editions.

Also, please clarify what means "We just wanted to set up a customer with a seconday NAS"? How job cloning is involved here?

That's it... didn't check the license! They just have a Standard license... all other customers are Enterprise and above.

I'm setting up a second NAS as backup target and would have liked to transfer the old job onto the new system with all the settings included.

Thanks for coming back. In this case, the only option is to configure a new job manually or swap the license for Ent/Ent+.
