Cloud Copy job unable to create GFS restore points

We have configured Cloud Copy jobs to our local Backups.
Cloud Copy jobs supposed to create Weekly/Monthly Full Backups. But It is not able to create weekly Full backups (GFS Restore points) Instead of this, It is creating continuous incremental .
Please suggest on this

Hello,
Even with GFS retention you still have an ordinary backup chain with increments.
That's the way Backup Copy GFS retention works.

Thanks for the Replay.
It is continuously creating .vib. But Actually I configured copy job for 7 days incremental , 4 weekly and 3 monthly. Weekly & Monthly for archival purpose. But it is generating.

Error:- Failed to merge full backup. one or more errors occurred.

Do you have Read the entire restore point from source instead of synthesizing it from increments check box selected?
How many days ago have you configured the GFS settings and what number is set under Restore points to keep?
As for the error message, its text is pretty general and it's required to check logs to figure out the issue. So please keep working with the support team.

I did not enabled Read the entire restore point from source instead of synthesizing it from increments.
I have configured copy job before 20 days ago. Number of Restore points to keep is 7 .

With given configuration there should be several GFS restore points by now.
Thus once again I would recommend to investigate logs with support engineers.
