Compact and schedule

Post by sweepsd » May 28, 2019 3:59 pm

Hi

I have amended a backup job to compact the full backup files weekly on a Thursday. This worked fine the first time but doesn't seem to run weekly on Thursday, I added the compact element on 25 April (thurs) and the next time it ran was 15 May (weds) which is about 3 weeks later. Anyone else seen this?

Thanks

Any chance the job didn't even start on missed Thursdays? You can check in history.

Can you provide us with the case Id, so that we can double check it internally? Thanks.

I think I stumbled upon the same bug, compacts just not happening (set to daily for testing) - 9.5U4b.

Thanks for sharing the case ID. Please continue working with our engineers to check if it is the same issue and when it is going to be addressed.
