Hello.
I have a B&R backup job with 8 vms. I have configured Guest processing.
On one vm I do not want to use guest processing. Therefore under „Enable application-aware processing“ – Applications I configured „Disable application processing“.
Also under Indexing I set it to disabled. However B&R is still trying to access the vm guest os via RPC and is trying to access the admin share.
These steps do fail and the Job result is with status „error“.
I do not want that B&R is trying to connect to the one vm guest os in any way.
What do I need to change?

Re: Completely disable Guest processing
Hello,
I've just checked the behavior in my lab and I cannot reproduce it: I don't see an attempt to deploy the runtime process on the VM with application processing disabled.
May I ask you to raise a support request and to provide the support case ID for our reference?
Thanks!

Re: Completely disable Guest processing
Hi Hirratas,
Please make sure that you have disabled AAIP, Indexing, Exclusions and Scripts for a needed VM and saved the changes.
Thanks
