I'm really confused setting up SureBackup and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Here's what my environment looks like.
My ESXi host and Veeam Server are on 10.10.200.0 subnet / 255.255.255.0
ESXi Host: 10.10.200.92
Veeam Server: 10.10.200.252
My VMs are on subnet 172.24.29.0 subnet / 255.255.255.0. My Veeam Server is able to communicate with everything on this subnet.
Should my Proxy be configured with an IP on the 10.10.200.0 subnet or the 172.24.29.0 subnet? Also, on the vNIC network settings part of the setup... Do I enter the proxy IP here as well or is this supposed to be the gateway IP?

Re: Confused Setting Up SureBackup
There is a helper VM that we start. This appliance should be running in the same subnet as the B&R Server (to avoid complicated routing manipulation).
You define a IP address for this appliance on the subnet.
Then in the wizard you setup VM network to VM Network VirtualLab mappings.... In your case you select the VM Network with the 172.24.29.0 subnet and then give the network an internal name.
In the next screen you need to give the VM internal network the configuration.
The IP address there should be the Gateway address of the VM network. You did not listed those, but likelely it is 172.24.29.1 or 172.24.29.254. You can check the network settings within the VM.
AS subnet mask use 255.255.255.0
For the Masquerade IP, you need to give Veeam an additional subnet. I recommend to use 173.24.29.0 (ignore the public IP warning). For it.
Then it should work as expected.
In the documentation (helpcenter) you can read through what the Masquerade network do and what it is used for... There are good explanations.
