Control number of concurrent snapshot removal tasks in Replication Job

We have a VBR Replication job to copy 50+ VM's from our backup repository to our DR site as replica VM's. We have noticed in the final stages of the replication job when it is applying the retention policy for the replica VM's that Veeam will only process 4 VM's concurrently.

We would like to increase this to handle the removal of more VMware snapshots at a time.

This limit does not appear to correlate to the backup proxy max concurrent task value as this is already above 4.

Is this possible to increase?

and welcome to the forums.

That sounds more like the generic maximum number of snapshots. Can you try the MaxSnapshotsPerDatastore key? (assuming you use VMware)

Default value: 4
