Copy jobs - remove old full archived backups

Hi,

What are alternative manners to remove full archived backups in a backup copy job repository, other than adjusting the retention policy ?

Can we remove manually the vbk files and adjust the vbm ? > then import again ?

Hi - yes, you can delete them manually. Don't recommend doing anything else though, at least without our support assisting. Thanks!

Keep in mind that after deleting the files from disk, corresponding records will still be displayed in Veeam B&R console, until cleaned up according to retention.

It would be nice to move full archived backups to another volume while the backup copy jobs is aware of its location. Are there plans for such functionality in future releases of Veeam.

Do you need this because you're using GFS retention policy?
