Folks, when we create a backup job, by default the task is incremental copies, this is correct? Should not the Veeam do yourself a full backup and then create incremental?
What is the difference of the normal backup created by Veeam when we do schedule to Perform Full Backup you can choose with the right mouse button?
What is the correct policy? I have a client running full backup manually every 3 days and I think this is wrong.
I look forward and thank you!

Re: Correct way to backup
The first backup is always full, all consequent backups are incremental. To perform full backups regularly automatically, you can use the 'Perform active full backups periodically' check box on the same page. The 'Perform Full Backup' command just allows you to perform full backup manually.
