Hi all.
The requirement I have is to copy a VM from the licenced 9.6 VEEAM Backup to a test esx host with VEEAM Free Edition to power it up to verify that the full VM is operating OK.
We had CBT issue recently and I want to see that whats on the backups is OK before and after the change.
I dont want to restore to virtual lab or sandbox as the system is highly regulated and cant take any risks.
I looked at VEEAMZIP but I can only ZIP from the infrastructure and not from backup.
Any advice ????
Thanks

Re: Create a VEEAMZIP from a backup
Hi David,
You can set up the backup copy job with a single VM, it will copy the most recent state of the VM from the source repository to the target host. Thanks!
