Current process for changing vPower NFS location
I've searched the forums & found some older posts on the above but they seem to point to registry entries that we don't have any longer although we must have on earlier versions as I once tried to change the path & couldn't get NFS working again until I changed things back to how they were at installation time.
Can someone point me to what's the current thinking/process to move this folder to another disk?
Thanks!
Paul

Re: Current process for changing vPower NFS location
Paul, have you tried to edit the corresponding backup repository to change the vPowerNFS folder location?

I haven't on this occasion because previously that didn't work, but I'll try it again now in case that's been fixed in more recent versions...

Re: Current process for changing vPower NFS location
Just tested it & it worked fine on 2 out of 3 hosts in a cluster so I have a different issue to look into on the one dodgy host but that's unlikely to be Veeam related.
Thanks for the simple nudge to just try it! That's the problem when you look to resolve old issues you've had mixed experience with previously

[MERGED] Veeam 9.x - Move vPower Location
What is the best and easiest way to move the vPower from the C: drive to another drive? Only posts I can find are from 2010 and I don't have the registry key they list.

Hi Mike, you can change it in the backup repository settings. Thanks.

Re: Current process for changing vPower NFS location
Hi, the Vpower NFS is no longer present (at least for me) in Veeam 9.5u4, I want to change the location of the vpower NFS folder to be on a different disk but I can't find the vpower NFS under disk

Re: Current process for changing vPower NFS location
It should have said, vPower NFS is no longer present in the list of repository in Veeam 9.5u4...

Re: Current process for changing vPower NFS location
It shouldn't be there, the folder path is specific to each repository.

Re: Current process for changing vPower NFS location
Thanks, I had trouble finding the settings as I first looked only at the screenshot on that page which doesn't show the vPower NFS option but going on this step on my repository showed me the currently used path and allowed me to change it.
Note: I would recommand changing the screenshot on that page to move the "ports" overlay a bit down and left so that it shows the vPower NFS path.

Yep, that was my thought as well when I opened this page to give you the link. Will pass this to the documentation team.

You need instant recovery write cache folder setting. Thanks!
