Delete old vCenter Servers
Hello.
I have replaced our vCenter server from 5.1 to 5.5, new hostname. The old vCenter server was connected to veeam and i have made a new connection with this new vCenter server, and that is working without any problems.
But i cant delete the old one from veeam.
Here is what i have tried, Enterprise Manager and the tab Configuration / vCenter Servers, here i have both the old and new server, vcenter server status for the old one is Warning and the new Ok, i select the old one and click Remove, Yes at the dialog about Remove vSphere Web Client plug-in. next dialog is a login at vCenter server and the text Failed to connect to vCenter Server, and its offline so i cant login at it.
I guess that there is somwhere else where i should delete this old server, so my guestions is where.

Re: Delete old vCenter Servers
Kristoffer, you can try to remove it from Veeam B&R console. If you are not able to do that, please ask support for assistance in cleaning up obsolete records directly from the database.

Hello.
Thanks for the reply.
I guess you mean B&R Console and Managed servers / VMware vSphere?, i could only se the new vCenter server there, so nothing to delete.
Maybe i should open a case then, this is not a big issue, but i like to keep it clean

Hi Andy, yes, Kristoffer has contacted support and performed DB cleanup with the help of our engineer. Please do the same.
