Direct restore to Azure; vm does not boot
Hi,
I have Veeam B&R 10 installed and have backups running from my Vsphere environment to my local backup repositories.
As a test I decided to try the "Restore to Azure" feature for one of my backed up vm's which is a Win 7 desktop. The restore runs fine and I can see that necessary vm, disk, network etc. created on my Azure subscription.
My Azure subscription is a Trial one.
However the vm fails to boot and looking at boot diagnostics I can see an error message " The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible, Status - 0xc0000225".
I have tried deleting the vm and run the restore process again but get the same error when booting. The restore status is always successful.
Has anyone seen this issue before and is there a resolution for it?
Support Case #04602981 has been opened.
Cheers

Let's wait and see what support engineer finds after debug log investigation - hard to tell right now, based on error description only. Thanks!

I do not see support logs attached yet. Are you able to make sure you attach logs for the backup job for that Windows 7 VM to the support case?

Do you mean the restore log? The backups are fine,it’s the restore which causes the issue.

I imagine both may be useful. But that is for support to decide.
