Veeam Replication - VM not booting: Windows Error Recovery

Hello,

again i Need your help.
I replicate a VM with following Settings:
- VM-Version: vmx-10
- OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise

If i try to start my Replica my Windows VM boot up in the "Windows Error Recovery". It doesnt matter if i choose "Start Windows normally" or "Launch Startup Repair (Recommended)". It boots always to the same Screen. Other VMs in other Replication Jobs with the same VM-Version, the same OS and the same Settings boot normally.

In my Replication Job i enabled CBT and "Application Aware Image Processing".
In the Event Log of the source VM i cannot find any Errors relating to the Replication Process.

Any Ideas?

Hi, Marco,

The Windows Error Recovery message is normal, as VM hasn't been shutdown properly from OS perspective. Or you're saying that VM keeps returning the said screen, even if you try to proceed with either "Start Windows normally" or "Launch Startup Repair (Recommended)" option?

Then, I recommend contacting support team and letting them analyse required logs, as sometimes it's way too hard to find the root cause of the issue through the forum correspondence. Thanks.
