Currently I have a customer's running VBR 9.5 U2, running on WS2012 R2 Standard Edition.
They have a couple of Server which just got upgraded to WS2016 Standard Edition. Was just wondering, does VBR 9.5 U2 Supports Backup to WS2016 Hosts as well ? Or do i need to upgrade it to VBR 9.5 U3 ?
I have referred to this KB, but it does not mention the version that I have to use.

Regarding newer updates:
From the Forums Digest this week:
"Upcoming Update 3a:
Microsoft Hyper-V 1803, Windows Server 1803 and Windows 10 April 2018 Update will be fully supported with no known issues or limitations from Veeam perspective. Very few things were broken in these releases, so kudos to Microsoft for that. This was certainly not the case with previous releases – in fact so much that we even invested in developing a tool to compare WMI between latest and new OS versions! Well guess what – the very first time we actually used one in anger, it returned no changes!"
