DR Disaster Rebuild Veeam Setup

Post by jdoster »

We are dealing with a storage issue and our best option is to wipe out all the data and reconfigure that SAN. This our DR site which only host Veeam 6.1 B&R Server and 4 proxy servers which are all VM's in ESXi 5.1 host. I need to find a game plan to move 4.4 TB of veeam files from multiple drives to external drives. Then I will wipe out my SAN and reconfigure it, then create new VM servers. Any suggestions on backing up the B&R Server vm and bring it back up without losing my database and configuration? I will then copy my Veeam backup files over then depending on what I need to do with the B&R server, create new jobs and map the backups.

Any ideas or suggestion would be appreciated!

Thanks

If it is a VM, then just back it up normally :) not much to say here...

I was way over thinking this. Crisis adverted Veeam is back up and running with one day of downtime.
