Hello,
I'm too stupid for correctly configuring the backup portal. I was following the documentation (https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ortal.html).
The delegated AD group is using a vSphere defined VI role - and to this role was added the privilege "VirtualMachine.Interact.Backup".
Rechecking via PowerCLI - it seems, that the privilege is set (Get-VIRole -Name <role name> | Get-VIPrivilege -id VirtualMachine.Interact.Backup | select * )
For other roless I get an error so it should be fine?
But when I finally will log on to the EM backup portal using a group member with the assigned role in vCenter, I'm always getting the answer: "Invalid username or password."
It does not depend on the user format (DOMAIN\user or user or user@domain.local).
What am I missing in my configuration?
Have I to refresh the authentication settings somewhere somehow?

I suggest to open a support case and let our customer support check your settings.
Guessing the issue over the forum without having access to your system is difficult.
