is it possible to get email alerts when there is newer version of VBR?

The backup server has a notification option for new updates. But that feature doesn't notify you immediately: Veeam Backup & Replication Update Notifications
If you want to get notified about new versions, you may subscribe to our KB update feed and/or security advisories notifications. Security Advisories will be send out when we have an new version with security fixes.
