EMC VNX (or VNXe) and V7 storage snapshots

Hi,

the storage snapshot part is very confusing, it says it is supported but for what platforms and how does it work exaclty? Does Veeam delete the snapshot from the storage after it has been moved somewhere else? Can you guys point to a document where it explain the process and the supported products?

If you read the User Guide here: http://www.veeam.com/documentation-guid ... d=menu-res at page 90 there are clearly stated which storage are supported right now:
• HP StoreVirtual
• HP StoreVirtual VSA
• HP StoreServ
The following pages also describe the backup process when storage snapshots are enabled.
